В 2000 — отправлен на капиталку к ADtranz Deutschland GmbH, получил № 72910/2001, обозначение W232.10 и имя (нет, не "Людмила") "Waltraut". С декабря 2002 — арендовался компанией KEG · Karsdorfer Eisenbahngesellschaft mbH, Karsdorf, которая в основном пользовалась тепловозами из Румынии (12 февраля 2004 обанкротились, много чего ушло в Польшу). 13 февраля 2003 — выкуплен GATX Rail Germany GmbH, Hamburg.
