Hakodate Shinkansen (Hokkaido Shinkansen) Shinkansen high-speed train line connecting Tokyo and Shin-Hakodate Station (in Russian, Hakodate-High-Speed)
One of the most difficult sections is the Seikan Tunnel. Connecting main Japan (Honshu Island) and Hokkaido Island. Its length is 53.85 kilometers. The line comes through the settlements: Shin-Aomori, Okutsugaru-Imabetsu, Kikonai, Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto.
The main rolling stock on the line are Shinkansen H5.
The line is currently being extended to the main city of the island, Sapporo.

JR Group является основой сетью железных дорог Японии.
