| 6 января 1959 г. — поступил на Московскую ж.д. В 1959 г. проходил испытания на экспериментальном кольце ВНИИЖТ. В результате испытаниий была дана общая положительная оценка локомотиву и внесены предложения об улучшении его конструкции и, в частности, об увеличении сцепного веса до 72 т, об обеспечении длительной работы тепловоза с полной мощностью дизеля при скорости ниже 10 км/ч, улучшении использования мощности дизеля в диапазоне скорости от 45 до 70 км/ч. | |
