A six-coupled Russian goods engine was captured at Rautu as war booty during the war for Finnish independence in 1918.
The engine marked Тя 111 was attached to a tender marked Тя 115 and bore the initials M.K.H.M, standing for the Moscow, Kursk, Nizgorod & Murom Railway.
Given this information it is assumed to have been Moscow — Kursk Railway no.Z (З) 11; assumed as in 1907 there wre 3,800 old freight locomotives of various types in service which were renumbered during the next decade; not all renumbering detail are known.

This locomotive was repaired and overhauled at Viipuri locomotive workshops with the intention of returning it to Russia in exchange for Finnish motive power. When the exchanges eventually took place in 1921, Soviets were not interested in this locomotive so it remained the property of SVR, entering the service in 1923 as a C6 class no.100
