В 1996 г. тепловоз пригоняли на реостатные испытания в ТЧ Кандалакша. Со слов сопровождающего тепловоз с Кольской АЭС и готовится на продажу.
В январе 2003 г. тепловоз пройдёт КР на Уфимском ТРЗ и получит дизель ПДГ1М вместо штатного 6Д49.
