Northern Rail 150 273 starts to cross Lockwood Viaduct working from Sheffield to Huddersfield along the Penistone Line.
I really like this area, especially how the train enters the viaduct from between the trees :)

Line is inside the forest like in green tunnel! Unfortunately here its not possible to see the same now. Along the lines all tries are cut down.

That's rather an advantage. In Europe, it is a big problem to find a photo point without natural obstacles such as bushes, trees, etc.

I imagine that the trees here are right up to the line with little room, usually in England too, lines are well cut back so no branches touch the train.

Yes, most of this line was 2 tracks, now apart from passing places it's all 1 track, with a train every hour.
