В процессе эксплуатации был оснащен САУТ МИИТ пр. С444.

В 1997-1998 гг. прицепные вагоны 01 и 03 периодически эксплуатировались с тепловозом ТЭМ2 на неэлектрифицированном участке Аксу — Промышленная.
К сентябрю 2001 г. стояли в холодном резерве на ст. Степногорск.

Вагон 1207 использовался как гараж около ст. Степногорск.
