Эксплуатация:
С завода поступил в депо Москва-Курская Московской ж. д.
В период с 12.1962 по 03.1963 — передан в депо Барабинск
В 1985 году был отмечен в сплотке с ЧС3-35.
По неподтвержденным данным в период 1985-1989 гг был поврежден при столкновении и отставлен от работы, после чего был передан в Центральный музей железнодорожного транспорта.
С 1993 г. находился на базе запаса в Лебяжьем.
В 2005 г. передан в МЖТ на Рижском вокзале.
03.2025 — передан в музей «Паровозы России»
