Номер предположительно не родной ( ≈ до 5500 номеров) Тепловоз ТГК2-5988 был приписки ТЧ-19 Иловайск Донецкой ж. д. В разное время на кузове наносился номер ТГК2-5989 / 5889 / 5988 (предположительно по ошибке) В 1999 — подготовлен в депо Лида и передан в Барановичский МЖТ
