Большого успеха добились рабочие и инженерно-технические работники Дебальцевского машиностроительного завода в 1948 году, освоив выпуск 25-тонного паропутевого крана, явившегося первым в Союзе образцом кранов подобного типа. В 1949 году завод произвел 33 таких крана. К декабрю того же года выпуск продукции на заводе по сравнению с 1946 годом увеличился на 72%
