After a day of sightseeing and visiting the amazing city of Samarkand I headed for an hour to a spot in the suburbs to try to catch something for my first taster of Uzbek railways. The first catch was a new type of loco for me personally a 3ES5K with a mixed freight heading westbound out of Samarkand. Also seen at this location was a 2O'ZELR and Talgo set 01/02.

I mean that it looks like there is no internal pass through, only this "side walk" we can see on the photo (don't know what would be the right word in English to name it).

I'm not actually sure, given it's narror body maybe not, I've never been in one and I haven't seen any photos inside the engine rooms...

It's not, all DMU's are connected by a walkway between coaches in the UK now, a lot even have connections at the front and back so when joined with another DMU/EMU it's possible to walk through.

Rodalies, we've had -5 this winter as the lowest but +15 as the highest, but if it snows it only last 5 minutes haha!
