The all-new 16 units of EMD SD70ACe/Lw locomotives are already on duty in Mongolia's Gobi railway lines. These engines belong to the "Tavantolgoi Railway" private company, and just two of them working on the "Ulaanbaatar Railway" JSC state mainline's coal and mining export traffic working under the short-term lease contracts from August 2024.
