It's quite a common thing here in the UK).

Я только первый раз вижу подпись на знаке MU. Обычно просто два знака, один для грузовых, другой для пассажирских.

Да, скорее всего, это путейский сарай./Yes, this is most likely a tool shed for track workers.

Зачем? Чтобы, остановив поезд, машинист мог пописать?/ Why? So that the driver can pee after stopping the train on the route? :)))

По превью подумал, что это Макензиевы Горы в Крыму!/ According to the preview, I thought that this is the Makenzievy Mountains in the Crimea!

Andrews, yes it is very impressive, especially as the line was built so long ago, however past this point the speed is 60MPH for this DMU). It will reach 125mph when it is on the East Coast Main Line.

Yes I can imagine it is unusual to see)

I think that is the reason, I know most locomotives were this way round, but GWR locomotives were right hand for some reason, I am not sure why.

The cutting between two harsh stone cliffs is very impressive, especially at 200 km/h. By the way, what does "35" and "MU 60" mean?"

Still so weird to see left-hand traffic. This is also funny to realize that cars have a wheel at left side in right-hand traffic countries and vice versa, however locomotives have reverse situation: a driver is at the left side in left-hand traffic countries. Was it also because of the steam locomotives to see lights?

A Grand Central 180 DMU heads along the Caldervale line towards Halifax working a London Kings Cross - Bradford Interchange service. I quite like this location because of the impressive cutting between two harsh stone cliffs.

The class 180 is a 125 mph/200kph DMU formed of 5 coaches.
Grand Central is an open access operator who operate 4/5 trains on this route daily, as well as a Sunderland - London route.
