They mostly operate commuter trains but it's the equivalent of Moscow's suburban Electric units.

It's National Rail not subway. Trains operate right to the south coast from this station.

Yes another train is arriving, there are actually 5 tracks on this bridge over the Thames, the other three are out of view of the photo to the left. 20 trains can depart in an hour so it's very busy for a 6 platform station!

Southeastern Networker 465019 leaves London Charing Cross paired with another 465 working a suburban service to south east London. These units were built for Network Southeast and entered service in 1992 to replace older, slower 3rd rail units.
