Autumn is here according to the railways with the start of the RHTT season across the UK. This is where special trains of top and tailed wagons travel around the network blasting high pressure sandite solution on the railhead. The aim of this? To improve adhesion so traction isn't affected as much. Otherwise trains will slide through stations and cause chaos))
Here 37425 crosses Knaresborough Viaduct, over the river Nidd working 3S29 York Thrall Europa to York Thrall Europa. The loco is repainted into Regional Railways colours, a variation of British Rail for, you guessed it, regional train services.
